Fall Destination Ride #2: The GW

  • Braley's Pond Parking West Augusta, Virginia, 24485 United States (map)

For September, we are heading to the George Washington National Forest to ride some of the trails made famous by the Shenandoah 100 mountain bike race. We will meet at the Braley Pond Parking area at 10 a.m., then head out for a figure-8 loop, which will allow riders to cut the ride short if they’re not feeling the full day. The total ride will be just under 20 miles, but has a lot of climbing (all in two big pushes!) and is primarily on blue/intermediate-level trails.

Follow us on social media for more details on the ride and updates as it gets closer!
