Yes. The club started as Roanoke IMBA in 2012 (RIMBA). The club was rebranded several years ago to Blue Ridge Offroad Cyclists to reflect a larger region of work but in 2025, we adopted a new mission statement “To be stewards of mountain bike experiences and foster community in the Roanoke Region”.
With that change, we wanted a name that better reflected our work. We are striving to support all aspects of the mountain bike community in the greater Roanoke region, and look to be stronger through the partnerships we can build.
